Thorium - I'm strongly convinced that Thorium is the basis of our energy future. Thorium reactors have the potential to provide for our electric power needs without the danger of meltdowns, will not produce nearly the waste of uranium reactors and cannot be used to create fissile materials for use in nuclear weapons.
